This case utilized several shots from an NBA regular season game that occurred less than two seconds before the application date, combined with promotional pictures publicly released on the patentee's official Weibo account after the application date, to form a complete chain of evidence proving that the design in question had been disclosed at the game site. It successfully refuted the patentee's defenses of obstruction of disclosure, non-same model, and grace period for novelty. Ultimately, the patent was declared completely invalid. The administrative litigation at the first instance was still upheld.
